What's going on at Vegas in the Ville this Saturday the 20th?

HELPFUL TIPS AND FAQ's TO ENJOY THIS YEAR'S EVENT TO THE FULLEST:

• RSVP...AND HAVE YOUR FRIENDS RSVP
  • Please RSVP today so we may ensure your ticket at the event. To speed things along at check-in, you will be asked to prepay before the event. To RSVP, please visit our reservation page. WE HAVE ADDED CAPACITY DUE TO DEMAND, BUT WE STILL MAY SELL OUT. IF WE SELL OUT, ONLY RESERVED ATTENDEES WILL BE ADMITTED.
• WHEN TO GET THERE:
  • Vegas in the Ville hours are from 5pm-12 midnight..
  • If you are participating in the Texas Hold'em Tournament arrive at 5pm for registration. HOLD'EM TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 6:00pm. NO EXEPTIONS!
  • If you are not participating in the Hold'em event, the party get's rolling early! I'd reccomend showing up at 6-7pm.
• WHICH TICKET DO I BUY?:
  • $25 General Admission - Entrance to the event
  • $125 Texas Hold'em - Includes Texas Holdem Entry Pool Fee and Entrance into event.
  • $100 VIP - Entrance to event, access to plush VIP Lounge area and drinks comped all night long. We take care of our VIP's!
  • We will accept checks, Visa, MasterCard and Cash.



• PARKING (VERY IMPORTANT):

• You have 2 parking options; Complimentary Valet or Self-Park. See official map below for details. My suggestion is to check Valet first. If Valet is backed up, we strongly suggest you self-park as a trolley will shuttle you to Whitehall if you do not wish to walk. Self-Park is right across the street...Not far at all.

• SHOWGIRLS - ANNOUNCING OUR 2008 VEGAS IN THE 'VILLE SHOWGIRL COSTUMES. Our Vegas in the Ville showgirls will be at the event and happy to take pictures with you and your friends...in these exact costumes.

• SHHHHHHHHHHH! ANNOUNCING THE INAGURAL VEGAS IN THE VILLE SILENT AUCTION - We've pulled out all the stops in providing our guests with the best local goods and services from the best establishments in Louisville.

• CHECK OUT LEVI - Levi Donaldson, currently ranked #2 in the world for flair bartending will be serving and performing at Vegas in the Ville. If you are not familiar with flair bartending, or haven't yet seen Levi on the Food Network, you can familiarize yourself by checking out one of the videos on his web site, http://www.flairshowcase.com Thanks to our Premier Sponsor, American Beverage Marketing for bringing Levi to Louisville!

• ELVIS IS IN THE BUILDING - Elvis has agreed to perform two sets, and schmooze with partygoers. In the true fashion of Vegas in the Ville, he can also be hired on the side to perform wedding ceremonies.

• MAGIC MAN - WHAT WOULD VEGAS IN THE 'VILLE BE WITHOUT A MAGICIAN! This year we will have a magician walk around and entertain our guest by performing to the crowd.

• PHOTO BOOTH - Our official Vegas in the Ville paparazzo will be on hand to take official photographs of the event. We will also have a photo booth from Louisville Photo BoothCompany on hand to take those cool candid shots.

• WHAT TO WEAR? - Dressy Casual. If you don't know what that means, ask your wife, girlfriend, sister or woman on the street. Keep in mind the warm weather. If all else fails, go to http://www.modernetiquette.com/
• PAPARAZZI- Our official Vegas in the Ville paparazzo will be on hand to take official photographs of the event. We have a red carpet this year.
• OLD BLUE EYES - It's Vegas in the Ville baby! Expect to hear music from all of the Vegas greats, from the Rat Pack and Elvis to today's top performers. You will have plenty of room to dance in our GIANT tent and dance floor.
• GARDEN – Whitehall is world renown for its amazing gardens. If you get a chance between hands, you should take a peek.
• COOL CARS – Bluegrass Motorsports will be showcasing the latest Porsche, Audi, Land Rover, and Jaguar models on Whitehall’s Lawn.
• GAMING – Charity Rules. Vegas in the Ville is a Charitable Gaming Fundraiser to benefit Whitehall Home and Garden. Whitehall is part of the Historic Homes Foundation. Games to be played will be Blackjack, Live Action Poker, Beat the Dealer, Split the Deck, and of course Texas Hold’em. REGISTRATION FOR TEXAS HOLDEM WILL BEGIN AT 5pm AND END AT 6pm on September 20th. All other games will begin at 6pm and end at 12:00 midnight. GOOD LUCK!
• GET HOME SAFELY - If you have had too much fun, and too many spirits, call City Scoot to take you home at 566-6384. It's pretty cool.
• INTO THE GARDEN WE GO - We've opened the gardens up to guests of Vegas in the 'Ville.
• HIGH-ROLLER TABLE - If the action under the tent is less than your speed, please note that we do have high-roller accommodations. The HIGH-ROLLER table will be in the main tent and will be roped off.
• OPULENT CUISINE - Guests of the Vegas in the 'Ville party will be treated to the finest cuisine a palette can bear.
